Farmhouse Omelet (Build-Your-Own)

1 omelet (multiply as needed)
Ingredients
- 2–3 Rocky Ridge Farm eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for fluffiness)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup cooked meat (sausage, bacon, ham, or leftover chicken)
- ¼ cup chopped vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, etc.)
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Prepare fillings first.
Cook any raw vegetables in a skillet with a little butter until softened. Warm cooked meats if needed. Set aside. -
Beat the eggs.
In a bowl whisk eggs with milk, a pinch of salt, and pepper. -
Heat the pan.
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. -
Cook the eggs.
Pour the eggs into the pan and let them cook undisturbed for about 30–45 seconds until the bottom begins to set. -
Add fillings.
Sprinkle meat, vegetables, and cheese over one half of the omelet. -
Fold.
Use a spatula to gently fold the empty half of the omelet over the fillings. -
Finish cooking.
Cook another 1–2 minutes until eggs are set and cheese melts. - Serve immediately.
