Our son Matthew is running junior high cross country for Elk Lake this fall. It’s his second year, and he’s already figured out the thing every runner figures out eventually: the race is the easy part. The hard part is showing up to practice in the cold and the rain and doing it again tomorrow. (Rob ran cross country in college, so he nods a lot when Matthew complains. And then makes him go anyway.)
Like every small-school team, the Elk Lake runners are doing a fundraiser. This year it’s holiday wreaths. The money goes toward cold weather team gear so they’re not standing around in October wind in their race kits, recovery nutrition for after practice, and helping pay for running camp next summer.
We’re offering the wreaths through the farm website to help the team reach more people. All the proceeds go to the team. We’re not pocketing anything on these. We’re just covering our costs and passing the money through.
And the wreaths themselves? They’re beautiful. Freshly made, locally sourced, 26" in diameter, Douglas or Fraser fir.

Delivery: Local orders will be delivered Thanksgiving week, so they’re fresh for the season. Not local? No problem. We’ll ship it, and you just pay the actual shipping cost. No markup, you'll receive an updated invoice with the shipping balance.
